This is what I became >_<So what, yeah. What pissed me off the other day was someone saying "I never saw you as a comic artist, just a promoter of other peoples work."
Yeah so apparantrly did everyone else I sacrificed my time for. Sacrificed what little respect I managed to salvage once for myself. It just made me so angry for someone to actually say it. Say what I was taken advantage for.
Well I don't have to worry about that now. I can get beack to what I want to do. Draw, animate. Do it becasue I have the time to do it, rather than making other people feel better about themselves.
I'm tired of being forgotten. Tired of being ignored and tired of being bugged to draw comics by people who just simply don't uderstand that I've put whatever energy I have left into them.
I hope they're comfortable with their new lives. They got their inteviews, they got their fame, they got their comics sold. I hope they are confortable with the leg up I gave them. The energy and hope I sacrificed myself for them, and not i'm not talking about one person.
And what makes it more frustrating is that they don't understand why I just sometimes cou;dnt find the motivation to try. I never abandond them, I never turned my back on them when they needed me. Was it too much to ask the same in return?
Do I sound bitter? Why should that be surprising? Sorry, I just needed the random rant.
